Executive Director of Shenandoah Valley Art Center in historic downtown Waynesboro.

Director of the Fall Foliage Festival Art Show, featuring 160+ artists, food trucks, music, and craft beer. The largest two day outdoor art show in the Valley.

Some programs I have created:

EMERGE: A section of the Fall Foliage Art Show featuring local and emerging artists. Helping showcase artists that are just beginning or in the process of growing.

Open Studio Tour: An annual weekend event featuring 9-15 venues and about 20 artists. The Open Studio Tour allows visitors a special opportunity to get a glimpse into the working spaces of regional artists. Now in the 4th year.

LOCAL: Landmarks and Landscapes: An exhibit featuring the works of 30 local artists that culminated in an exhibit and published catalog of work. This was  a tremendous fundraiser and friend-raiser.

40UNDER40 Exhibit: This annual exhibit features Virginia Artists age 40 and under for a month long exhibit. The show has increased in quality and visibility each year and is often cited as a cornerstone of our exhibit quality by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, a funder of SVAC. This exhibit was created to help shift our demographic and capture younger members and artists- it has been an overwhelming success.

416 Expansion Project: Facilitated the beginning of an expansion project. Raised necessary capital to purchase an additional 10,000 square foot building. Launched capital campaign to raise funds for renovations (halfway to goal). Created a plan for a financially self sustainable community art center within 5 years.
